Position:

• Contract Duration: 24 months initial term, renewable for 5-10 years

• Ugomba-Noel LTD is a growing vegetable oil manufacturing company committed to improving food security in Nigeria through the production of high-quality cooking oils. With a current production capacity of more than 10,000 liters per month, we maintain strict quality standards and use locally sourced materials.

Position Overview:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Manager who will oversee our oil refining processes while ensuring quality assurance standards.
• This role combines technical expertise with operational management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the vegetable oil refining process
• Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols
• Supervise floor operations and production staff
• Oversee bottle labeling processes
• Support marketing initiatives
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Report directly to the Director of Operations.
• Includes but not limited to the above-mentioned responsibilities.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in oil refining processes
• Understanding of quality control systems
• Knowledge of food safety standards
• Production planning and scheduling
• Inventory management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related feild
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in FMCG/food industry
• Strong understanding of quality control processes
• Knowledge of Nigerian food security landscape
• Experience with production floor management
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Reporting: This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.
